New photos! Cruise update! And more!

Hi everyone! So we are back from the Michael W. Smith cruise, which was phenomenal! I'm working on getting all of my photos uploaded to share -- we took almost 700 so I'm doing a lot of weeding. Until I can get them all posted, though, here's a sneak peek at my dream come true! I'm going to post a blog with a re-cap of the cruise for each day, as I have so much to say about it and don't want to do a single 5,000 word post. So I'll start working on those later this week.

And before the big unveiling of the cruise photos I thought I should get caught up on uploading some other pictures we've taken this summer. So to the left you'll see candids from June, as well as photos from Hannah's gymnastics/dance recital at the end of June.

We did take a family trip to Dutch Wonderland the weekend of July 4-6, but decided not to lug the big camera with us and took Hannah's little digital camera. It was since gone missing (I guess this is what happens when you buy a 5 year old her own camera), but once we find it I'll be able to upload photos from that trip also.

And last, but not least, Lisa (David's sister) was here for two weeks, to help my step-mom watch the kids while we were away and then another week to visit. She took some great photos of the kids I'm linking to here:
- Lisa's album of the kids #1
- Lisa's album of the kids #2
- Kids at the lake

As you can see, our summer has been busy, busy, busy and it's not going to slow down in August. This past weekend was a big family reunion with my step-mom's family, that was a ton of fun. This week Hannah is on her way to Grandma's house in Slidell with Aunt Lisa. Then next weekend David is driving down with Daniel and Olivia to stay for two weeks and I'll be flying down to join everyone the final week. When we get back we will have one week before school starts for all three kids! Yikes! I can't believe Hannah is starting kindergarten and Daniel and Olivia are starting pre-school.

Also this week I've got a Habitat for Humanity build, which I'm looking forward to. I haven't worked on a build since college, but I joined the church relation's committee for our local chapter earlier this year and am enjoying being a part of it again. Of course, work is keeping me as busy as always, but thankfully no travel until end of Sept. And if all of this wasn't enough, somehow I've managed to volunteer myself to teach adult Sunday School at church, and be on the Marketing and Communications leadership committee for Camp Caroline Furnace (my old home-away-from home). Good thing for me I have found I actually like the taste of Red Bull!

Good lord woman, don't you ever slow down??? I'm stressed and consider myself busy when I have to worry about work and school. I think I'd run away if I had all of your stuff on my plate. You handle it well though. The pictures are amazing. I hope we can come see the Ballon clan at the end of the month for the tailgate party.

Love you.
